Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

Tiny Desk AI makes short AI-generated music performance videos. You choose a seat in our built-in performance template (the lead singer, or a band of up to five), upload one photo per seat, and an AI video model generates a new video with the people from those photos performing. You cannot upload your own videos. Every video is an AI parody, not real concert footage, and this site is not affiliated with NPR, Tiny Desk, Charlie Wilson or The Gap Band.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload a photo of anyone who has not agreed to appear in the video, of a minor, or of a public figure or celebrity.
• Use the videos to deceive, harass, defame or impersonate anyone, or present them as real footage.
• Remove or hide the watermark on videos that carry one.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data, or to get around our safety measures.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Use the service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.

Prohibited Content

You must not upload, generate, or share through the service any content in the following categories:

1. Sexual or explicit content: sexually explicit or suggestive material, including undressed bodies, or sexualized depictions of any person.
2. Violence and gore: graphic violence, blood, injury, or content that threatens, glorifies, or incites violence or self-harm.
3. Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans, or promotes discrimination or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
4. Child safety: any photo of a minor, and any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. We have zero tolerance for this category: we remove it, close the account without refund, and report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the relevant authorities.
5. Impersonation and deception: videos of a real person made without their consent, videos that pretend to be someone else, and videos presented as genuine footage to mislead people about who is in them or what they did.
6. Copyright and trademark infringement: content that copies or misuses works, logos, brands, or characters you do not own or have no permission to use.

Reporting Violations

If you find a video made with the service that breaks these rules, or you believe your image or rights have been misused, email us at support@tinydeskvideo.org with the subject "Content report". Please include a link to or copy of the video, where you found it, and why you believe it breaks these Terms. Rights holders can send copyright or trademark notices to the same address. We acknowledge reports within 2 business days, and we handle reports involving minors first.

Content Moderation

• Photo checks: every photo is checked for format, size and dimensions, and a photo that fails is rejected or its credits are returned. The generator asks for one adult per photo and only people who agreed to be in the video.
• AI model safeguards: the third-party AI video model we use applies its own safety filters and may refuse a request or its output. A refused or failed generation produces no video, and its credits are returned automatically.
• Human review: a person reviews every report we receive and decides what action to take under these Terms.

Automated systems are not perfect, so you remain responsible for everything you upload and generate.

Enforcement

Depending on how serious the violation is, we may, with or without prior notice:

• Stop a generation and delete the uploaded photos or generated videos involved.
• Issue a warning.
• Suspend or permanently terminate your account, and forfeit any remaining credits without refund where the violation is serious or repeated.
• Report illegal content to law enforcement or other competent authorities and preserve related records as required by law.

If you believe we acted on your content in error, reply to our notice or contact us at support@tinydeskvideo.org and we will review the decision.

Payment and Billing

Credits are sold in one-time packs; there is no subscription. Purchased credits are valid for 365 days. Each video's credit cost is shown before you generate it. If a generation fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically. Refunds of payments follow our Refund Policy. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the videos you generate. You confirm that you have the right to use each photo and that everyone shown in it has agreed to appear in the video. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content only to provide the service. You are responsible for how you use and share your videos.

Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Names of third parties mentioned on this site belong to their owners and are used only to describe the clip the template is modelled on.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
